A Letter from the Founder
Pour Les Gens WW or PLG for short, was founded by Dylan Antigua during the Summer of 2020 and is based out of Queens, NY. The brand is built on the core saying "For the People" but is branded with a French twist making it "Pour Les Gens". The brands pillars are built on the pursuit of a "world uniform", leading to the brand being built on the concepts of stylish yet affordable streetwear for the masses.
My upbringing in New York City was a driving force in the creation of PLG, and has honestly been an idea that has been brewing for over 6+ years, ever since my love for fashion grew to a sense of independence away from my family during my years in high school. Growing up in one of the biggest fashion markets in the world during the prime era of streetwear exposed to me the true rigors and obstacles many like me faced in the pursuit of getting "fly". The constant combat of bots, resell culture, and often even violence turned me away from even attempting to purchase the hottest brands and products hitting the city streets, and as a student, money was never an easy grab.
Building off of my experience coming up, I knew I wanted PLG to stand for something a lot larger than just a clothing brand. Although a streetwear brand, I knew that fashion has always had a larger purpose beyond its material weight, and I knew that fashion has always had the power to unite and inspire. Through Pour Les Gens, I hope to not only affordable clothing that people can get fly under, but I hope to inspire someone out there to do the same. I feel the fashion community can get so caught up in the competitive sphere of things that we fail to really understand the true power of unity within this industry. So to you all, I appreciate all of the love and support, and even just the time you have taken to read this. I have undergone a full rebrand with PLG, and think I am beginning to turn the page on what PLG can actually be from a potential standpoint. Without you all this wouldn't be possible. I was just a kid from NYC sitting at home dreaming about having my own brand in high school, and look at me now. Whether it's one sale, ten sales, a hundred sales, or me blowing up to be the next big thing, I am forever grateful. LETS CHANGE THE WORLD.
Sincerely,
Dylan Antigua
